At Groomington Eats, we know that waiting for treats is hard—just ask any dog staring at the treat jar! We do our best to get your pup’s goodies (and your human swag) to you as quickly as possible. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping process.
1. Processing Time ⏳
🐾 Standard Orders: Most orders ship within 5-10 business days after being placed.
🐾 Custom or Handmade Items: If you ordered something extra special, like a custom item, processing may take 10-20 business days before shipping.
🐾 Peak Seasons: Holidays and special launches may cause slight delays, but we promise we’re working as fast as a pup chasing the mailman.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times 🚚
We ship using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Delivery times vary based on location and carrier delays, but here’s a general guide:
📍 Domestic (U.S.) Shipping:
- Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days (additional cost)
- Overnight Shipping: 1-2 business days (because some pups just can’t wait!)
📍 International Shipping:
- Standard International: 10-20 business days (varies by country)
- Customs & Import Fees: Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes.
🐾 Note: We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or customs, but we’ll do our best to help track things down if needed.
3. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping 💰
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
- Expedited and overnight shipping options are available for an additional charge.
4. Tracking Your Order 📦
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you (and your pup) can keep an eye on its journey. If you don’t receive a tracking number within the processing timeframe, check your spam folder or reach out to us.
5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages 🚨
We know package thieves are sneakier than a dog stealing socks, so here’s what happens if your package goes missing:
🐾 Marked as Delivered but Missing?
- Check with neighbors, household members, or your local post office.
- If the package still hasn’t shown up, contact the carrier directly.
- If you need further assistance, email us at [your email], and we’ll do our best to help.
🐾 Lost in Transit?
- If your package hasn’t moved in a while, let us know! We’ll sniff out a solution.
- We are not responsible for packages lost due to carrier errors, but we’ll do our best to assist.
🐾 Returned to Sender?
- If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can reship it, but additional shipping fees will apply.
6. Damaged Items 🦴
If your order arrives looking like it had a rough day at the dog park, don’t worry! Contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage, and we’ll work on a replacement or store credit.
7. Returns & Exchanges 🔄
🐶 Food Items: Due to the perishable nature of our dog treats, we do not accept returns on food products. If there’s an issue, contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right.
🐶 Non-Food Items: Accessories, apparel, and other non-perishable items can be returned within 14 days as long as they’re unused and in their original condition. (See our Return Paw-licy for full details.)
8. International Shipping Limitations 🌍
While we love spreading tail wags worldwide, some countries have strict import rules on pet treats. If we can’t ship to your location, you’ll be notified at checkout.
